Incident Command System IS-100 & IS-700
Incident Command System (ICS) is a management system designed to enable effective and efficient domestic incident management by integrating a combination of facilities, equipment, personnel, procedures, and communications operating within a common organizational structure.
Complete the FEMA IS-100 and IS-700 courses online on the FEMA website. To do this you will need a FEMA Student ID, you can get one on FEMA’s website.
Please note that Civil Air Patrol does not have control over these courses or your FEMA account.
Each course will take you roughly 3 hours. Upon completion and successfully passing each FEMA course, you will be sent an email explaining how to receive your completion certificate.
Uploading FEMA certificates to eServices
The completion certificate must be uploaded to your eServices account under Operation Qualifications (please contact your Chain of Command for more information)

From the menu --> Operations --> Operations Qualifications

Click on the red ▼Ops Quals at the top of the screen to open a sub-menu

Click SQTR Entry/Worksheet on the left menu

Enter your CAPID

At the top under your name click View/Upload Documents

Under the Emergency Services tab in the drop down menu select IS100 or IS700

Upload your FEMA Certificate by browsing for and selecting the file for upload

Click Upload ES File
